Over a number of years, the new car can be cheaper per kilometer driven overall. Auto For Trade says that for both new and used cars, some car models and colors hold value better than others. It is generally easier to get rid of a black or silver gray car than a turquoise blue. The rule of thumb is that new cars usually have greater depreciation and fewer maintenance costs, while used cars have lower depreciation and higher maintenance costs. What do you think?
